dc.description.abstractThe Azykh Paleolithic cave camp site was discovered in 1960 by archaeologist Mammadali Huseynov in the Khojavand region. Located on the left bank of the Kuruchay River, the cave sits at an elevation of 950 meters above sea level and 200–250 meters above the current riverbed. It has two entrances and five chambers, with a total area of 1,250 m², a length of 250 meters, and a height of 20 meters. The cave is of karstic origin.en_US
