dc.description.abstractOn June 23, 1968 a hominid remain - the right fragment of the lower jawbone has been found along with stone products and animal bones from a depth of 7.3 m from the conventional zero line (from the IV horizon of the V layer) belonging to the Middle Acheulian culture of the Azykh cave. The obtained example is the oldest example of homo-species discovered in Azerbaijan until nowand is dated to 350,000 to 400,000 years ago.en_US
