dc.description.abstractThe article discusses the iron knives found in the process of ar-chaeological excavations at the site of Shamkir in 2007-2017. These polyfun-ctional tools of labor, widely used in households and welfare, are divided by size into three groups, and in the form of the blade there are four types. The blacksmiths in the process of making knives used local raw materials (the Chanlibel deposit and the Dashkesan deposit), used various techniques, in particular, hot and cold forging, welding, grinding, etc.en_US
