The objective of this thesis is to investigate and analyze the phenomenon of borrowing as a word formation process in the context of the globalization era, specifically focusing on the case of English to Azerbaijani language dynamics. The study aims to explore the linguistic implications of globalization on borrowing patterns, identify the factors influencing the adoption of English words into Azerbaijani, and assess the impact of these lexical borrowings on the linguistic landscape of Azerbaijani. By examining the cultural, social, and technological aspects that contribute to the borrowing process, the research seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of how linguistic interactions occur in the globalized world and contribute to the evolution of languages, with a particular emphasis on the English-Azerbaijani language interfaceen_US
