The EU's Response to China's Growing Influence in Central and Eastern Europe

Abstract

This study is to analyze the EU's response to China's growing presence in Central and Eastern Europe, considering both economic opportunities and the threats that China's political and strategic interests may pose. This research will explore China's investments in CEE, the most significant issues that these investments pose, and the European Union's strategic policy responses and reactions. By analyzing these factors, the study aims to enlighten on how the EU balances its economic aspirations with its apprehension over sovereignty, security, and foreign domination in its land.
