Abstract: The research is a response to the urgent need to reassess higher education institutions' conventional hierarchical leadership structures in light of the increasingly complicated demands of global education and technology breakthroughs. It looks at distributed leadership's ability to handle issues like inclusiveness, innovation, and agility—all of which are often left unsupported by traditional leadership models. Distributed leadership is defined by shared accountability and cooperative decision-making. The purpose of this study is to better understand how dispersed leadership has been adapted in higher education and how it affects stakeholder involvement, organisational effectiveness, and policy creation. The study's advanced learning level necessitates a multidisciplinary approach that integrates concepts from leadership studies, educational management, and organisational theory to investigate and assess the dynamics of dispersed leadership in higher education environments.
