| Abstract: | On February 9, 2024, an order was issued on the establishment of the scientific research center " Center for Mathematics and its Applications " at Khazar University. This center will operate as an independent structural unit of Khazar University, independent of the Department of Mathematics. Professor Vugar Ismayilov has been appointed as the director of the center, while Professor Anar Ahmadov will serve as the co-director, and Ali Huseynli, the head of Khazar University's Mathematics Department, has been appointed as a coordinator. |
