dc.description.abstractThe study aims to assess the communicative competence of students learning English in Azerbaijan. It focuses on investigating the application of new language teaching methods, analyzing the process of forming communicative competence, and evaluating the effectiveness of these methods in the current educational context. In the practical part of the research, a questionnaire was developed to gauge the students' level of awareness regarding communicative competence. The obtained results from the questionnaire were carefully examined and analyzed. It was observed that the students exhibited diverse reactions to the ideas presented to them, indicating variations in the conditions and tendencies of idea formation among individuals. Furthermore, the dissertation underwent a thorough analysis, and statistical techniques were employed to analyze the gathered data. These statistical analyses provided valuable insights into the students' communicative competence levels and shed light on the effectiveness of the new language teaching methods employed. To ensure the study's relevance, previous research works were extensively reviewed and referenced. This comprehensive review of related studies demonstrates the researcher's awareness of the existing knowledge in the field and highlights the significance of the topic under investigation. In conclusion, this study delves into the communicative competence of English language learners in Azerbaijan. By examining the application of new methods, exploring the formation process, and evaluating their effectiveness, the research contributes to the understanding of language teaching practices in Azerbaijan and provides valuable insights for language educators and policymakers.en_US
