Abstract: The Mogul attack event left such a heavy impact on the Islamic society that the observers considered it impossible for the society to get rid of that situation. The unique Mogul plunder and demolition drew the attention of writers to record the great event or the Great Calamity. In fact, in a short period of four decades, four lasting works were created in the four corners of the Islamic world, preparing the grounds for flourishing of historiography of the Ilkhanid era. The following works were the pioneers of movement of historiography of seventh century hegira.
