Abstract: | Three factors, namely slavery, Christian evangelization and colonialism have impacted greatly on the growth and development of African Continent. These three factors brought with them alien civilizations that Africa and Africans at the inception could not easily appropriate into their cultural systems. This marks the very beginning of socio-political and economic problems of Africa. |
