Authors: Guliyev, Farid
Description: Post-Soviet countries have embraced the energy transition discourse, but how well did they perform so far? And what policy lessons can be learnt from their experiences? This report provides an overview of the status of non-conventional renewable energy sources (such as geothermal, wind, solar, biomass and small hydroelectric plants (IEA/IRENA 2019)), renewable energy targets and legal and regulatory frameworks adopted in four post-Soviet countries: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine. In addition, the report identifies gaps in state support and promotion of renewable energy projects in each individual country and offers some policy suggestions.2021-12-01T00:00:00ZEurasian Academy (catalog)http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12323/35552018-11-09T14:04:20Z2016-01-01T00:00:00ZTitle: Eurasian Academy (catalog)2016-01-01T00:00:00ZAvrasiya Akademiyası: Həqiqət və gözəllik eşqihttp://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12323/34592018-11-09T14:08:18Z2016-01-01T00:00:00ZTitle: Avrasiya Akademiyası: Həqiqət və gözəllik eşqi2016-01-01T00:00:00Z
